This is inspired by Alphons Mucha’s poster series for Sarah Bernhardt (very famous actress at the time).
I felt like killing myself when i drew this. I actually really like the original black and white version too. I don’t really have any other words for this… just… that I was suicidal that day.. and wanted to draw something dramatic… and use my pens and some of my favorite art is from the art nouveau movement. So there you go. My friend said it the two expressions reminded her a lot of how every abuse victim feels… horrified… and collapse. Interesting.. right?
